HIGH PERFORMANCE HOMES

The project  was developed for the Walt Disney Company in conjunction with the Art Center College of Design.

The concept explores the application of automotive manufacturing techniques for the construction of "High Performance" modular homes.

The project was conceived, in part, as a way to achieve Walt Disney's dream of marshaling the forces and ingenuity of industry to solve many of the problems that plaque our city's and communities.

High tech residence is influenced by transportation design elements.
A MODULAR SYSTEM

The primary components are "SuperFormed" aluminum sandwich panels. The many possible design configurations are an amalgamation of various modular construction systems as well as site built components.
