The proposal was sponsored by Walt Disney's Imagineering Group in an effort to explore potential projects for the company that applied the "core competencies" of the Imagineers.

The concept combined the elements of a Spa Retreat, a Creative Retreat and a Monastic Retreat to provide the ultimate non-Disney experience. A place, completely away from the life you know, to truly relax, meditate and explore your own personal creativity.
